    From far away this looks like a taxidermy specimen, but up close you realize it is nothing but a beautiful homage to a native species to the Northeast USA.

    Condition: The wood was recently dusted off and protected with boiled linseed oil to avoid dry-rot and separation. The only flaw is the tail feathers which is honestly not noticeable considering how highly detailed every inch of this bird is. It really is a truly amazing bird carving. It could easily pass as a real bird from afar.
