    Description

P.R.V  Model 502.1" FNPT Threaded Double Union  (High Quality)
100% Made in Italy, Made in F.A.R.G. Co.
    Function
Pressure reducing valves are specifically designed to reduce and stabilize the pressure of water entering a water network. Normally, pressure – from mains water - is too high and unstable to be used effectively in a domestic water system.
One of the most important characteristics of a pressure reducing valve is that it is able to provide stable downstream pressure despite varying upstream pressure.
The pressure reducing valve is particularly suitable in civil and industrial applications requiring a medium to high flow rate, with the added value of a stainless steel seat. Its main feature is piston operation with compensation chamber.
Connection to the system is made via ISO 228/1 threaded female pipe unions. Two 1⁄4"G connections on the body allow to installing a pressure gauge.
    Technical and Construction Characteristics
Body: Brass with hot deep Nickel-Plated CW617N UNI EN 12165
    Available sizes: 1/2" - 3/4" - 1" - 1"1/4  - 1"1/2  - 2"
Maximum recommended operating pressure: (370 psig = 25 bar)
Factory pressure setting: 45 psig = 3 bar
    Outlet pressure setting range:
    From 1/2" to 1" = (10 - 70 psig ) = (0.68 - 4.76 bar)
    From 11/4" to 2" = (15 - 80 psig ) = (1 - 5.34 bar)
Maximum operating temperature: 180°F (t. min 0°C not to be used in frost conditions)
All water tightness and operation tests, including outlet pressure deviation and setting range tests, are carried out in accordance with EN 1567, concerning the sizes, construction materials and performance requirements (including testing methods) of water pressure reducing valves.
