Vintage WATER PIK a Teledyne Product model # 49 Water Flossing Machine 120V

Vintage Water Pik model # 49 oral hygiene appliance by Teledyne Products.  This clean used machine is complete with 4 tips (1 has a broken white plastic ring base).  I plugged the water pik in and switched on the motor briefly but I didn't try to use it with water.  I would imagine the pumps seals are dry after so many years of age and doubt that it would function well without replacing pump parts.  The color of the exposed areas of the plastic housing have darkened with age.  The inside of the cover/tank has a more greenish tint that the more harvest gold colored exposed areas.  There is a faint rust colored line down the front of the base unit (see photo #7).  Looking at it through a jeweler's loop, it doesn't look to be a crack but only a narrow stain.  The white electrical cord is 4'-9" in length and is in good condition.  This would be a great display/conversational piece in a dental setting.  Made in USA !!
