    Description

    PRICE REDUCED!  Heavy thick glass Sunbeam Equipment Corporation, Meadville, Pennsylvania, advertising dish/plate.  Hard to photograph as the glass is a smoky gray color and all the print and advertising is in bright shiny gold, including an aerial factory scene.  Glass measures 8 1/4 X 6 1/4 inches and weighs just under a pound before packaging.  ALL the gold is bright, shiny and complete with no wear!  There is a light scratch at the top rim, hardly noticeable, at 1:00.  No chips or flakes.  Not sure of the age, but I've had it a long time.   Postage .50.
    Before SECO/Warwick, the company had operated as Sunbeam Equipment Corp. from 1958 to 1984, and prior to that the site was the industrial furnace division of the former Westinghouse Electric Corp. which operated from the early 1920s to 1958.  It had been making industrial heat treat furnaces in Meadville under the SECO/Warwick Corp. name since 1984, but the history of the site as an industrial location goes back almost 100 years.
