Vintage & Signed “Pops” Scarborough (of the Outer Banks, N.C.) Hand Carved/Painted Bird - “Yellow Legs”. "Pops" was (and is) a legend in and around the The Outer Banks of North Carolina; in particular, Duck, N.C. Among other talents, he was a gifted artist, particularly known for his hand carved wooden birds which were sought after when he was alive and quite rare now that he is gone. This special bird is circa 1990, and the bird is approximately 12 inches tall and the driftwood she sits on measures approximately 13 inches. The bird is known as "Yellow Legs" for obvious reasons.
