Vintage SENIOR GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM-HAT-PINS-SPANISH TRAILS 1960’s

Description

This is for a very good Vintage Senior Girl Scout Uniform. This uniform was introduced in 1960. It became the uniform of all Senior Scouts. It is a classic 2 piece dress. The jacket is belted in the back and form fitted and hip length. A SPANISH TRAILS COUNCIL patch and USA patch are on one sleeve. The Skirt had a kick pleat in the back but it has been hemmed up. It is made from 100% cotton sharkskin fabric in dark green with an iridescent effect. I could not find any holes or stains in this uniform. It is in good shape for so many years. The Hat is the same one that had been used with the prior uniform but in 1963 a hat cord was added to coordinate with the interest patches. It is in great shape. The Pins are the Original ones placed correctly on the uniform. They are the World Association Pin and the Trefoil Eagle Pin.
