    Description

This is for a Vintage Senior Girl Scout Uniform. This uniform was introduced in 1960. It became the uniform of all Senior Scouts. It is a classic 2 piece dress. The jacket is belted in the back and form fitted and hip length. A PAVONA COUNCIL patch and USA patch are on one sleeve while a FIRST CLASS PATCH and the Rarer 8 INDISPENSABLES PATCH on the other sleeve. This patch was awarded when a scout completed 8 requirements for it. . The Skirt has a kick pleat in the back. It is made from 100% cotton sharkskin fabric in dark green with an iridescent effect. It is in good shape for so many years but the only thing I could find is a small hole on the side near the buttoned belt. The Hat is the same one that had been used with the prior uniform but in 1963 a hat cord was added to coordinate with the interest patches. It is in great shape. The Pins are the Original ones placed correctly on the uniform. They are the World Association Pin, the Trefoil Eagle Pin and 2 year stars. There aren’t any sizes in these so please see pictures for Condition and Measurements so you can get the right fit.
