    Description

    This auction is for a Vintage Prewar American Flyer O Gauge No.572 Northern 4-8-4 Steam Engine and Tender. It was made in 1940. This version has 534 number boards. It is in excellent condition and it is complete. It is original except that the original tender has been replaced with an original 1940's postwar American Flyer tender with prewar O Gauge trucks attached. It's the same as the original except for the lettering. The cow catcher has been replaced with a reproduction replacement cow catcher. The number boards are original. One number board came loose at one point and was re-attached. It has been tested and it runs and tracks great and the auto reverse works and the headlight works.
