    Description

    Cool looking antique toy train.
    O gauge scale.
    Sold as pictured, I am not a train collector but I got this with some other toys.
    Locomotive has a broken front bottom skirt piece as can be seen, also missing the clear plastic windshield and headlight lens.
    otherwise appears to be in pretty good shape, the caboose matches the engine so I believe it is correct to the set, I do not have any more pieces and I’m including everything shown even if it was not original to this exact train.
    I bench tested this engine with a small piece of track and a transformer and the light worked but when power was applied mostly I just heard clicking noise but it did run backwards but very rough.
    It did not want to move forward today. I will try to oil this a little bit and see if I can get it to run better and I will amend the description if I can get it to do so but for now I would sell it is in need of some TLC to run.
    The other cars appear to be in complete however maybe they are useful for parts they are sort of weird cars compared to most of the usual box cars that I find, please note that the radar dish is broken but it all appears to be here or mostly so that can be reglued, also please note that the missile launcher that lunch is the form missiles appears to be in working condition all four of the tabs stay pressed down and activate when I spend the little wheel,
    Additionally the satellite launcher appears to work however the actual black spinner part where it attaches appears to be chipped,,
    I don’t know if a satellite will launch properly as I do not have one to test it however one wound it does stay wound and the activating lever does set it off.
    of course the missiles and satellites are all missing.
    I have not tested couplers and otherwise if you see something that I missed please ask questions, I just got this set as part of an estate clean out in a little bit weird I have not found this one before.
    Everything needs some TLC and a detailing, I did not even clean this, it is dirty as found.
    I believe all of the paint is original.
    I bought this several years ago and as I remember it was not DOA and the engine worked however I am selling this “as is”, as pictured.
    Hopefully you can work on it or use for parts.
