Vintage ceramic bird lamp; hand painted on tree

Description

Here we have a vintage ceramic bird lamp; hand painted on tree. The lamp features a bird on a tree with leaves and berries and green grass in a ceramic white/brown base; all one piece. The bird is a pale yellow and has mottled, speckled greens and brown on his wings. The grass has a mottled effect with some browns and different shades of browns on the tree. The base is a white color with a light brown banded border. The bottom has a brown color ornamentation relief. The cord of the lamp is in the socket, which is very odd. The lamp works; see pics. There are no chips/cracks. The cord is undamaged. The base ridge is dirty. There is a relief mark on the bottom of the lamp; it has a cross and shield with a leaf in a circle. Don't know it's origin. Measures 13" to top of socket and 6" across widest point.
