Lionel Postwar 2527 U.S. Army 44 Missile Launching Set OBs with SET BOX
This is the Lionel Postwar 2527 U.S. Army Missile Launching Set. The set is in excellent condition overall which has been run previously. The diesel included in the set is excellent and shows an excellent light blue finish with white lettering and numbers. The finish on the locomotive is excellent! The top does show some box rub which can be seen in the photographs. The engine is excellent without any chipped steps.
The cars included with the set are all excellent and complete. The cars all feature original parts including the original helicopter for the helicopter launching car. The only question mark regarding the originality of the parts included with the cars is the stretchers on the Medical Car. The red crosses on the stretchers are showing some bleeding. This would be the only question mark regarding the originality of the cars included in the set.
The boxes included with the set are very good overall. Some of the individual boxes are taped on the flaps, but no flaps are missing or torn. The inserts are torn on two of the boxes including the 6823 Flat Car with Missile and the 6844 Missile Carrying Car. The set box is excellent and does not have any tears or missing flaps. The Super "O" track is also included with the set. All of the original parts envelopes are included with the set and can be seen in the photographs.
