    Description

    This collector's plate, made in Staffordshire, England, by Crown Devon, celebrates the 1939 restoration of the "Old Spanish Village" in San Antonio, Texas. The intricately detailed plate detailing La Villita was issued in 1951. The plate is 9 7/8" across; it has heavy crazing, possibly original to manufacture, but no chips or cracks. The brown and white plate, both front and back, is a little faded but still very handsome.
