SENIOR GIRL SCOUT BUTTON-HOLE TIE
YELLOW for PANORAMA
This is an Official Tie for the Senior Girl Scout Uniform from 1971 to 1979.  This is YELLOW in color, and was to be attached to the top button at the neck of the uniform dress or tunic.  Thus, it has only the button HOLES on both ends of the tie.  YELLOW was used for Girl Scouts interested in a variety of subjects called, PANORAMA.  Even though this was the most popular group for senior Girl Scouts,
Patch, hat cord, and this tie are RARE.  This uniform was the era of the "holey belt," the drop waist and the shorter skirts.
In fact, you rarely saw a Girl Scout with her tunic or dress buttoned all the way to the neck, so obviously the ties were rarely worn!  I have only one in this color.
