SENIOR GIRL SCOUT BUTTON-HOLE TIE
GOLD for INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP & COMMUNITY SERVICE
This is an Official Tie for the Senior Girl Scout Uniform from 1971 to 1979.  This is GOLD in color, and was to be attached to the top button at the neck of the uniform dress or tunic.  Thus, it has only the button HOLES on both ends of the tie.  gold was used for Girl Scouts with an interest in INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP or COMMUNITY SERVICE.
Patch, hat cord, and this tie are VERY RARE.  This uniform was the era of the "holey belt," the drop waist and the shorter skirts.
In fact, you rarely saw a Girl Scout with her tunic or dress buttoned all the way to the neck!
