    Description

    POSTWAR LIONEL No. 50 GANG CAR
    LOT DESCRIPTION:
    As the title says this lot consists of a POSTWAR  LIONEL No. 50 GANG CAR. Made in the 1950s it is the side horn version. It is all original Post War Lionel including all the original gang car members but as you can see in the pictures they are all olive green in color.
    DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION:
    Gang car is in very nice  shape. No cracks, breaks or chips. No rust. Nice bright colors, lettering and numbers look fine.  The frame, trucks, rollers and bumpers all in great shape as are the Gang Car members.  As is often the case the levers on the control panel are missing as you can see from  the pictures.  Also the pegs to hold two of the gang car  members  onto the car have  been replaced.   Still, a nicelooking piece that IMHO (lever issues aside)  I would rate it as in C-7,  excellent condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge for the pictures are an important part of the description and say more than my words ever can..
    WORKING CONDITION:
    I have cleaned, lubed and tested the gang car and it runs, bumps and reverses just fine, a real crowd pleaser
