POSTWAR LIONEL 2243 SANTA FE, AB, F3  DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE SET
LOT DESCRIPTION:
As the title says this lot consists of POSTWAR LIONEL 2243 SANTA FE, F3, AB,   DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE SET. Made in the 1955-57 time period  this set comes with  magna-traction, interior lights, a diesel horn. It is all original Post War Lionel.  Set also includes the original box for the power unit, the original box and liner for the B unit and the original instruction sheet.
DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION:
Set is in great shape. The plastic shells are fine, no cracks, breaks or chips. The colors, side stripes and decals are all bright and clear. Front  decal looks great.  Lettering and numbers still nice and sharp. The battery compartment, the interior and the frame are fine , no battery damage there at all. Trucks and rollers in great shape.   Minor playwear rubs and scuffs here and there typical of a used but not abused set,  but no serious issues.   The boxes also look great, all the end flaps are there and no tape repairs.   Again, this is just a great  looking  complete set  that IMHO  I would rate as in C-7, excellent condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge for the pictures are an important part of the description and say more than my words ever can..
WORKING CONDITION:
I have, cleaned, lubed and tested the set and it runs and reverses perfectly and the e-unit cycles just fine. I did not test the horn, they are much too finicky to know when they will or will not work
