    Oriole Hand Carved Wood - Baltimore Oriole. Ships via USPS Priority Mail in a large flat rate box.
    This is one of my earlier wood carvings. I was saving it for sentimental reasons, but I finally decided to let it go.
    I carved it from Tupelo wood, painted it with acrylic paints, put in glass eyes, added painted cast pewter legs and feet, and then mounted it on a piece of locust wood.
    The Oriole measures approximately 9” from tip of tail to tip of its beak. The height of the mounted Oriole is about 7 1/2” tall, and the base is somewhat oval shaped and measures approximately 4 1/2” x 5”.
