Up for auction is a beautiful
ALL ORIGINAL #
736 BERKSHIRE with the #736W WHISTLE TENDER. This engine & tender set is in SPECTACULAR MINT/UNRUN CONDITION.
This LOCOMOTIVE and TENDER are in beautiful condition. There is nothing broken and the casting on the engine is perfect.  There are no broken parts. The chassis is perfect, the frame is straight. The graphics are crisp and clear. The lettering on the loco and tender is perfect and like new. The boiler front is original.  The side rods, wheels, and rollers have that unused factory haze on them. Never used.
Both the engine and tender have a nice dull patina showing virtually no handling. The tender is great with bright PENNSYLVANIA lettering. The set has has never been run. The smoke unit has never been used. It comes with headlight, smoke, whistle and
Magne~Traction.
Both engine and tender are C-9/C-10.
The
ORIGINAL ENGINE BOX
is in superb condition with beautiful graphics, C-9. There is no writing on the box. The box is a brick. All flaps are present and attached. The tender box is a great repro. It comes with a crisp instruction sheet.
This was the workhorse engine of the Lionel fleet. A super example.
