Description
Up for auction is a beautifulALL ORIGINAL #2360 PENNSYLVANIA GG-1
. This engine is in SPECTACULAR MINT/UNRUN CONDITION. It comes with a C-9 ORIGINAL BOX/INSERT/ORIGINAL WRAPPING PAPER AND INSTRUCTION SHEET. THIS IS THE SUPER HARD TO FIND 1961 VERSION ONLY WHICH HAS HEAT STAMPED LETTERING and NUMBERS.
This LOCOMOTIVE is in unbelievable condition. There is nothing broken and the casting on the engine is perfect. There are no broken parts. It is factory fresh and looks new. The chassis is perfect, the frame is straight.
The wheels and rollers are
perfect with no signs of wear
. The graphics are crisp and clear. The striping on the loco is perfect and like new. The PANTOGRAPHS ARE ORIGINAL. The patina on the engine is great and looks factory fresh with brilliant striping and numbers. The pantographs are stunning and operate perfectly.
The locomotive has a nice dull patina showing no handling. The chassis is unrun with
NO BATTERY DAMAGE
. It is equipped with dual motors, dual headlights, horn, twin pantographs, illuminated marker lights, and
Magne~Traction.
Both engine and box are C-9/C-10. Everything is original.
The
ORIGINAL BOX
is in superb condition with beautiful graphics, C-9. There is no extraneous tape or writing on the boxes. The box is a brick. All flaps are present and attached. All numbers and box maker data are clearly legible. There are no wheel marks on the inside of the insert.
The GG-1 comes with a nice
ORIGINAL
GREEN
instruction sheet
and is wrapped in
Original Lionel Paper
. The instruction sheet is still folded as it came from the factory.
This was the top of the line electric in the Lionel Line. It doesn't get much better than this. A superb example of the rarest of the late GG-1's.
