    Description

    This is a Marx, O scale, blue cast, #666 Steam Engine 2-4-2, with blue tender, and 3 blue and yellow Chessie System  B & O passenger cars with lithos in window of the passsengers. I am not sure how old this set is, but looks vintage from looking at the lithos. The engine is cast and weighs 2 1/2 pounds, tender is plastic and the passenger cars are a metal. The engine runs, smokes and the light works. The lights in the cars also work. All pieces are marked, "Marx". Some very minor nicks and scratches on cars, and a few tears in the paper litho on the rear car. A side step is broken off one side on the front of the tender. If you have any information regarding this set, i would like to hear from you. I had a person tell me they thought it was made this way by someone????
