    Description

    Beautiful Crown Devon Covered Butter Cheese Dish England Antique Porcelain.  This piece is done in soft pastel colors with a gol covered handle Its condition is used but in excellent condition,  There is no visible damage to the exterior of the cheese dish what so ever.  The interior of the cover shows  signs crazing from the age of the piece I would imagine as can be seen on my photograph, but it is not visible anywhere on the outside.  The plate under the cover is in perfect condition.
    I have included a picture of the company's markings from inside the cover where you can clearly read "Crown Devon" and England just above the crown and below the crown, I can read the word Erin and below I can only guess at R..N.. and then the digits 6112 51 which might represent a register number. Above the crown there are two additional lines of text but I am not familiar enough to make a guess at what it might say.  I can only tell you that this is a really nice piece.
