Up for your consideration is a Lionel United States Coast Guard Train Set Model 6-11905. This set is in great working condition with all parts included. It is very rare to find all the parts in this set included!
Protect your shores with the Lionel O-27 US Coast Guard Set! This rugged set includes everything you need to get running immediately - including tons of extras that'll keep the action going for hours.
Leading up the set is the dependable Lionel NW2 diesel locomotive. Its' can motor and diesel horn makes for plenty of power and noise when you need to alert your crew. Use the transformer to control your NW2's forward-neutral-reverse operation. Magnetic couplers and a brilliant headlight round out the dependable diesel features.
If the locomotive sounds fun, wait till you hear about the rest of the set. Starting things off is the flatcar carrying a Coast Guard rescue speed boat. While the train is rolling, the boat rests safely in its custom cradle. But when there's trouble on the high seas, use the derrick car to drop the rescue boat into the "water." For extra fun, place batteries (not included) in the boat and go for some high-speed operations.
The searchlight car is perfect for turning midnight into daylight during dark and stormy nights along the shore. Just increase the track power until you have the proper lighting level, the aim the light just about anywhere you want - it rotated 360 degrees!
To keep track of Coast Guard vessels at sea, rely on the radar car. Its antenna rotates during operation, helping the tireless crew in their dedicated effort to maintain safe seas.
Rounding out the rolling stock is the rescue caboose. Its illuminated and features another crew member resting between rescue operations. Look for removable oxygen tanks to assist in medical emergencies. Don't forget about supplies. They're always on time, thanks to the US Coast Guard tractor-trailer included with the set. If it is not acceptable, I will not sell it. Some items that have issues but are still usable will be listed BUT, I will list and photograph all defects I can find. I sell good clean items. I will photograph serial numbers or marks so you know what item you are getting. I also do this so that if the item comes back to me for any reason, I want to make sure it was what I had sent out! Some unscrupulus buyers (yes, they are out there) will buy an item from me and once received, return their broken item to me saying they received it broken. I know better and will challenge this with Ebay!
Buyers Remorse is a valid reason for a return, but please indicate that as a reason and pay the shipping to return it. DO NOT SAY THE ITEM IS DEFECTIVE JUST TO MAKE ME PAY SHIPPING! Recently, several items came back to me working perfectly.
I clean most items but only for photos, they might need better cleaning, especially food use items. My home is clean, we dont smoke and I have a dog but for every item I have, I dont know where they came from. New items are new, not re-shrink-wrapped by me. I cannot guarantee that others didn't.
With this being said, I try to examine each item closely for cracks or chips. My eyes are not the best as they used to be and I might miss something so look at the pictures carefully.
