Just checked it this ran both directions but will need to be cleaned and lubed because it has been sitting years
This is the smoke bulb version, first turbines produced and only one year
This engine is missing its rear steps which is needed to run the engine alone, if hooked to a correct tender, it will run fine as long as the tenders coupler is not bent allowing the draw bar to touch the center rail
Steps are available for around 6 bucks and easy to install
Pilot is nice not bent like most
Needs to be really cleaned well inside and out as you can see
Rear trailing truck needs original screw
I don’t have one and easy to find
Bulb lights up but no guarantees if survives shipping
The smoke bulb only uses smoke pellets, not liquid.
Liquid will crack the bulb
This reverse unit is controlled by a jumper wire in the cab
Pilot looks nice, not bent or missing like others
Wheels are controlled by a drive shaft geared at both ends, all 4 flanged wheels pull like a four wheel drive compared to the angled motor with worm gear only powering the rear two flanged wheels
Wheels will need to be wiped off with a solvent because they have dried oils on them but do contact and spin with the motor
does not have the weight inside

Will combine when possible but don’t want these cast iron trains bouncing off each other from rough shipper handling
Sold as is needs service cleaning
