  • Condition: This sale is for a postwar Lionel 2343 Santa Fe F-3 A-A diesel set. The powered locomotive runs, and the headlight works in both units. The battery box is clean. There are scratches, dings as shown. The colors do not match. There is an issue with the red paint on the dummy A (on top of the box in photo 3) as shown. The nose decals do not match, and both have cracks with the dummy A being the worst as shown. There is a "hump" on the roofs of both locomotives as shown. The horn and couplers have not been tested. We do suggest lubricating these diesels. Master carton, power, and dummy boxes are included. Box information below. No instructions.     Up for
    sale is a postwar O gauge Lionel #2343 Santa Fe F-3 A-A Power & Dummy Diesel Locomotives circa 1950. Issues as described above.
    No instructions. If you have any questions please ask and I will respond ASAP. Please view all of the photographs and condition description above to judge the condition for yourself as they are part of the description.
    The master carton is date stamped 1950 on the side of the box with the other carton information, and is in nice condition but does shows signs of wear. The 2343P box has a "X" after the number, and is in nice condition. The 2343T shows very nice, but has issues. There is a tear on the side at one end as shown in the photographs. At the opposite end one of the interior flaps is torn.
