Lionel Postwar MINT #2046W Whistle Tender Original Box No Reserve

This auction is for an absolutely MINT (unrun) Lionel Postwar #2046W Whistling Tender.  The original box and box liner are in pristine condition.  As you can see in the one picture the original inspection slip is still folded and placed under the front truck.  Look closely at the wheels and center roller pickup.  There is no sign of any wear in fact the wheels still show the "frosted" look to them.  This tender is correct for a number of different locomotives in both 0 and 027 gauge trains from the postwar era.  I did not test the whistle but if your intention is to use this piece it will probably require proper lubrication.  It has sat in the box since the 1950's.  Bid with confidence, you will not be disappointed if you are looking for a MINT 2046W tender.  Please see the enlargeable pictures for your best description.
