Here we have a beautiful Lionel #2055 Hudson Type Locomotive built by Lionel in 1955.  It is the Type II variation and is in like new condition.  The Type II variation was the last to be built in late 1954 and 1955, it had a heat stamped number in white and it's a beauty in all respects.  The unit runs smoothly, e-unit cycles correctly, and I don't believe this steamer has ever seen a smoke pellet.  Yes it is that nice.  The 2046W whistle tender is in great condition and the whistle works well.  It is free from any blemishes!  It is the correct tender for this 2055 loco as the 2046W tenderit came with a tab rear coupler and silver coupler pivot pin.  This unit will make a great addition to your layout or collection.  The loco box is a crisp, with no writing and is an original, the tender box is a reproduction from East Coast Train Parts.   i will guarantee 100% satisfaction on your purchase!   This is a 5 day no reserve auction.
