Lionel 2025(2-6-2) Locomotive & 2466WX Matching Tender. Please read entire description. This a 1947 , first production year of the 2025 , thats been cleaned, sanitized, completely serviced and test operated. The Locomotive has the aluminum smoke stack (specific to 1947) and the motor has been completely serviced. Armature face and brushes have been cleaned and polished, commutator slots cleaned,all carbon deposits removed. Direction/Eunit has been serviced and cycles correctly,and the smoke generator has been converted to liquid smoke. The headlamp has been rewired and a new bulb installed, all linkage and running gear,including those nice Baldwin disc drive wheels, have been cleaned and lubricated.Cosmetically it’s in exceptionally nice condition,with nice paint, good cab numbers, and handrails and ornamental bell are excellent. The Tender trucks have been serviced and rewired, whistle motor completely serviced and the whistle is nice and loud.The body shell is perfect with nice lettering and the handrails are intact. Rear coupler operates correctly. Includes a copy of the operating and maintenance instructions and is sold as is so check out the photos and zoom in. This one runs , smokes and whistles great.
