    Description

    LIONEL 1062 STEAM LOCO WITH  TENDER & 3 FREIGHT CARS
    LOT DESCRIPTION:
    As the title states this lot consists of a Lionel No. 1062 0-4-0 plastic  Steam Locomotive with the correct 1062T tender  that was made in 1963. Included with the loco and tender are  two 6035 Sunoco Tank Cars and a 2257 caboose.   The loco has a 2 position e-unit and all the freight cars have automatic  couplers and the entire set is all original Post War Lionel.
    DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION:
    The set is in great shape. The loco casting is perfect, no breaks, cracks or chips. No missing parts, great color, numbers  look fine . The tender and freight cars look just as nice, they have no rust or dents, no breaks, cracks or chips on the plastic bodies, lettering all crisp and clear, colors nice and bright, trucks and automatic couplers in great shape. Some very minor playwear rubs and scratches here and there (remember this set is over 60  years old but no real issues here at all.  Again, this is a great looking set that IMHO I would rate as in C-7 excellent condition but look at all the pictures and you be the judge for the pictures are an important part of the description and say more than my words ever can..
    WORKING CONDITION:
    I have tested the locomotive runs and reverses just fine, e-unit cycles just fine,. No operation issues here at all, set is ready to go!
    DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION:
    The set is in great shape. The loco shell is perfect, no breaks, cracks or chips. Both classification lights (often broken off) are perfect as are the front cowcatcher steps. No missing parts, great color and the lettering is nice and clear.  The tender too looks very nice, some minor rubs and paint chips but no rust or dents.   Freight cars all  look very nice, they have no rust or dents, no breaks, cracks or chips on the plastic bodies, lettering all crisp and clear, colors nice and bright, trucks and automatic couplers in great shape.  Some playwear rubs and scratches here and there on the set (remember these items are over  70 years old!) but no serious issues here at all.   Again, this is a great looking set that IMHO I would rate as in excellent condition but look at all the pictures and you be the judge for the pictures are an important part of the description and say more than my words ever can..
    WORKING CONDITION:
    I have tested the set and the locomotive runs and reverses just fine .  Whistle in the tender works fine.  Operating box mechanism sticks.
