For sale are 2 embossed metal plates. They each read:

JOHN G. ROBINSON
CIN'TI, O.
I was told by the previous owner that these are related to the John Robinson Circus family out of Terrace Park (close to Cincinnati), Ohio. Apparently, the Robinson family operated a popular circus from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. Each stamped metal plate measures approximately 3 inches by 6 inches. I don't know if these plates were some kind of transportation ID plates that went on a trailer or some other form of travel; that's a guess by the previous owner as well.
