IVES O GAUGE MOTORIZED 810 TROLLEY WITH OVERHED POLE -- PROTOTYPE?

Listed is an Ives O Gauge Motorized No. 810 Trolley with the overhead trolley pole.
I purchased this back in 1973 from a store in Crete, Illinois that a Doctor put on consignment.  The trolley came with the poles and box.  What's unusual is that every one I've seen including the two I currently have ... has a different pole design.  I have made a copy of a 1914 illustration of this trolley which clearly shows the "fork" type design that this trolley has that hooks onto the pulley from both ends.  Most all I've seen on the 810 overhead trolley pole shows a  hook going into the pulley from one side.  I talked to Gene Schalaik, an authority/expert and huge collector of Ives and suggested that it might very well be a prototype of an 810 trolley before production with some improvements/final design. Tested and ran great on the track layout. The box and poles I am keeping for my other trolleys.  So it is just the trolley I am listing for your consideration.  If you have any concerns or need more information, ask questions before making an offer or before bidding.  I will get back to you right away.
