Folk art flying goose decoy on driftwood base, unsigned. Bird sits on a nail which is attached to a piece of driftwood. Body and tail are one piece. Wings and feet are applied, you can see a slight separation between wing and body. Colors black head with tack eyes, white over painted neck ban. Carved brown painted wing span. Black carved tail with over paint white between tail and body. White underbody with carved black feet. There is some paint wear on wings and paint spots on body back and wings. Approximate measurements of bird is, wing span from tip to tip 9-1/2", from leg to tip of wing 8", across body 1-3/4", legs hanging down 1-1/2", tail to beak 9". Approximate measurements of driftwood is 8-3/4" long x 3-1/4" across widest point.
