Here is a stunning victorian souvenir china 2 inch or so tall cup with a pig coming out of it, featuring a litho of the ELKS CLUB building which was in East Saint Louis ILL in St clair County.  This is from 1910 and is in great condition.  No chips or cracks, just like all souvenir china of the day, some gold loss, but it was probably never on this to begin with.  These pieces were sold quickly out of drug store or general stores and were souvenirs of teh city people were visiting.  Instead of a postcard, they bought some china from the town.   Near Belleville, highland, ALton, Granite city, Venice, Madison, Edwardsville, Mascoutah, Freeburg, Marissa, Millstadt, Dupo, Valmeyer, Columbia, Waterloo, Red Bud, New Athens, Nashville, Okawville Greenville, Elsah, Wood River, bethalto, etc etc just across the river from Saint Louis MO Missouri.
