Purchase includes 2 extension brackets, one pair.
This expansion bracket is designed for trusses of 2 1 3/4" round pipes with wire supports in between. The mounting holes are too close to the supports to allow anything to be mounted between the two pipes.
This product allows you to make use of this space by hanging lights from the top pipe and making use of the otherwise dead space and/or using the brackets at the bottom as shown in the photos.
Expand your truss system by mounting as many of 5 lights and other fixtures at one location on the long dual round pipe trusses. Have lights offset to point where you want. Greatly increase the lighting intensity and excitement of your truss system and make your mirror balls far brighter and more exciting. These trusses only have limited mounting holes allowing only fixtures on the very top or hanging from the bottom, but now you can have a virtually unlimited number of lights and other fixtures.
Includes 3 sets of M8 black nylon bolts, washers and butterfly (thumbnail) screws per bracket.
Enough room to mount two 8-inch par can lights as shown or multiple pin spots.
If you have moving light strips on the truss was we do in the photos, you will see that the bracket does not cover those up.
13 and 1/8th inches long overall. Outside mounting holes are 11.75 inches apart. Each bracket has a weight of 11.6 oz. Made of cold rolled steel 2 mm in thickness. These are tough thick steel. Painted flat black.
The mounting holes are 3/8" and are big enough for the large bolts that comes with the 4 foot trusses.
We recommend no more than 10 lbs. per side with the same amount of weight on each end. The real limit is the truss stand you are using. One photo shows the bracket holding two 10-lb sandbags, the maximum safe amount of weight per side. Note that even with 10 lbs on each side, they do not bend.
Square brackets for 4 foot 1x1" truss systems are also available. Flat stainless steel brackets with and without mounting clamps for aluminum professional truss systems also available.
