    As best I can determine, Charles Guerre was a cutler in France that made knives and razors in the 1800's. It was a multi-generational family business. Charles Guerre
    died in either 1873 or 1876 and the business passed to his son-in-law
    Emile Genevoix-Guerre. At that time Guerre was considered one of the finest razor manufacturers and knife makers in France and one of the largest. They also provided sabres and bayonets to the French army.
