Antique Harker Pottery Souvenir Scholls Ore Brooks Bros Plate Child Fireplace Dickens Theme. Neat semi porcelain plate made by Harker Pottery Co. East Liverpool, Ohio. Transferware shows a Charles Dickens inspired plate with a child Pip? in front of a fireplace underneath the scene it says Great Expectations Compliments of Brooks Bros. Scholls Oregon. I can’t find anything about Brooks Bros. in Scholls Oregon as either a merchant or bank or store or whatnot. Gold accent rim edge and transferware type pattern is in sort of sepia tones browns offset with light. Gold lettering in good condition some wear but legible. Plate measures approx. 6⅞” wide and has no chips, cracks. Backstamp is pointing up bow and arrow with the Harker letters overlapping mark.
