Serpentine is a major rock forming mineral and is found as a constituent in many metamorphic and weather igneous rocks. It often colors many of these rocks to a green color and most rocks that have a green color probably have serpentine in some amount. Serpentine is actually a general name applied to several members of a polymorphic group. The serpentine group describes a group of common rock-forming hydrous magnesium iron phyllosilicate ((Mg, Fe)3Si2O5(OH)4) minerals; they may contain minor amounts of other elements including chromium, manganese, cobalt or nickel. In mineralogy and gemology, serpentine may refer to any of 20 varieties belonging to the serpentine group. Owing to admixture, these varieties are not always easy to individualize, and distinctions are not usually made.
Aragonite and the more common mineral Calcite are polymorphous to each other. Although Aragonite and Calcite contain the same chemical composition, they differ in crystal structure. Aragonite forms orthorhombic crystals, whereas Calcite forms trigonal crystals. Since the true identity of microcrystalline forms of Aragonite or Calcite may not be known, they may be mislabeled as the wrong mineral.
Aragonite frequently contains sand inclusions, which give a specimen a brown color. It forms in many environments, but a particularly interesting one is its formation from deposition of hot, mineral-rich springs. The water releases the calcium it contains upon reaching the air, and forms mounds and thick crusts around the springs. When these deposited mounds and crusts are banded, they are sometimes carved and termed "Onyx Marble", "Suisan Marble", "California Onyx", or "Mexican Onyx".
Onyx is formed of bands of chalcedony in alternating colors. It is cryptocrystalline, consisting of fine intergrowths of the silica minerals quartz and moganite. Its bands are parallel to one another, as opposed to the more chaotic banding that often occurs in agates. Originally, almost all colors of chalcedony from white to dark brown and black were called onyx. Today when we think of onyx we often preface the word with black to distinguish it from other varieties of onyx that come in white, reddish brown, brown and banded. A variety of onyx that is reddish brown with white and lighter reddish bands is known as sardonyx.
Sodalite is known for its often bright-blue color, and it usually contains white veins or streaking. Sodalite is named in reference to its sodium ("soda") content. Discovered in 1811 in the Ilimaussaq intrusive complex in Greenland, sodalite did not become important as an ornamental stone until 1891 when vast deposits of fine material were discovered in Ontario, Canada. Returns Policy

If the customer is willing to return the item, original shipping packaging should not be disposed of, and the item should be in it's original condition. Please contact us using eBay Messaging Service to request return authorization prior sending the merchandise back to us.
We will issue the refund or send a replacement merchandise to the customer at our own decision.

Products damaged during transportation.
- Products damaged during transportation must be reported ASAP but not later than 5 business days after the receipt.
Shipping packaging and product packaging should not be disposed of because they are used as evidence for associated carrier insurance claim. Also we ask the customers to send us the pictures showing the damage during transportation with the initial claim.
Once such product is reported, we file insurance claim with the shipping carrier and/or resolve this problem with the customer by providing refund or replacement once the shipping carrier fulfills obligations related to the claim.
Also we will not be held responsible if the return package is stolen or damaged during delivery.
