WINDSOR TIE, NO GS or TREFOIL
1949, Unusual 45" X 6"
There were MANY variations of color, size and trefoil designs to the Windsor Girl Scout Tie.  The distinguishing characteristic is that this one Has
NO TREFOIL and not even a G.S.
The 1949 Girl Scout Catalog has no explanation as to why the identifying trefoil is missing, but the thoughts include that the Camp Uniforms are not "Dress Wear" and thus the tie shouldn't show the "dress insignia."  I have three colors and several of each, but I will list them separately with a new picture for each.  They vary extensively in condition.  This one is the best of the Gold colored ones with only a few hard to see dots of soiling.   Check my store to see the Green and the Yellow Camp Ties.
