    GIRL SCOUTS
    GOLD NECKERCHIEF with SECOND TREFOIL
    Here is a triangular neckerchief that was an important part of the Intermediate Girl Scout uniform.  In the early years, this was the standard. This "second trefoil" ran from 1939 to 1948, so that is the date on which I based this neckerchief.  These came in several different colors, but this YELLOW color was usually the most popular. This one is from my collection and the good news is that there are no holes and no loose seems, but the negative is the black spot that shows very
    clearly as in the picture
    .  The light smudge barely shows to the eye, however.
    This measure approximately 40 inches on the long side, and 26 inches on the short sides.
